Dr. Gus Geiger has practiced chiropractic in the South Florida Area since 1997. He graduated from Morehouse College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology. He became interested in Chiropractic while working in mental health with the intent of pursuing a career as a Psychologist. He was introduced to Chiropractic by co-workers who were working at the Hospital while they attended Chiropractic college. After realizing many limitations associated with the mental health arena and with the encouragement of coworkers he began to research the Chiropractic profession for approximately one year. He found the concept of natural health through Chiropractic care very intriguing. He consequently enrolled at Life University College of Chiropractic completing his studies in 1991. His focus today is on the treatment of acute injuries and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Geiger utilizes a functional approach as to how the spine and the extremities are truly integrated when an injury occurs with extensive knowledge of soft tissue and repetitive strain injuries. He strongly believes in an integrated approach to health care that combines the effectiveness of several disciplines to provide a more comprehensive approach to health care.
Dr.Geiger is married and has a daughter. When he is away from the Plantation Chiropractic office he enjoys participating in activities at his local Church and looks forward to doing mission trips in the near future.
